A considered workflow

From course idea to an approved change.

AI is useful when the instructor can see what it proposes, where it changes the course, and what happens next.

  1. Start with your course

Create a course and its modules, or bring a syllabus into the AI editor. Your course is the source of context.

  2. Inspect a concrete proposal

Compare the original with the proposed changes. See what is added, revised, removed, or moved before you decide.

  3. Approve with a record

Apply only the changes you accept. Revision history gives you a persistent record and a path to restore earlier course content.

Clear expectations

Know what you’re starting with.

A useful product starts with an honest description of what works and what is still being built.

What can I use today?

Tallam has account access, role-based workspaces, course and module management, enrollment, and student course views. The AI course editor has a review-and-approve workflow verified with a deterministic mock provider. Live AI generation remains unverified.

Can students sign up?

Yes. Self-registration creates a student account, and email confirmation is required. A course appears after an instructor enrolls that email. Instructor access is provisioned separately; creating an account does not grant teaching permissions.

Does AI change my course automatically?

No. The course editor creates a proposal. You inspect the before-and-after view and explicitly approve or reject it. Approved changes are recorded in revision history.

Is Tallam ready to replace an institution’s LMS?

Tallam is an MVP in development. Institution-wide administration, LMS integrations, live AI validation, Tutor, and Control are still ahead. Evaluate it in a limited pilot before relying on it for an institutional rollout.
