Learning question

What assumption does this policy make?

Consider the evidence. Explore another perspective. Develop your own judgment.

Illustrative workflow with synthetic course content. This example does not represent a real student, uploaded source, or live AI answer.

Available, preview, planned

A transparent product roadmap.

Tallam is an MVP in development. These distinctions matter when you decide what to evaluate and what to rely on.

Course workspace

Available

Create and edit courses and modules, enroll students by email, and give enrolled students a read-only course view.

AI course editing

Mock verified

Turn an instruction or uploaded syllabus into a before-and-after proposal. Explicit approval applies changes and records a revision. Live generation remains unverified.

Academic tools

Live tools + previews

Create and publish assignments, then grade existing completed submissions. Gradebook and course analytics use synthetic examples. Live student analytics and student submission controls are not available.

Assessment intelligence

In development

Assessment analysis and evidence-linked insight previews are being built. Estimated difficulty and AI interpretations must be treated as hypotheses.

Tallam Tutor

Planned

A course-grounded student assistant using professor-approved materials. No live student tutoring is available yet.

Tallam Control

Planned

Assignment-specific AI assistance levels and visible instructor rules. This policy workflow is not yet available.

Authority & data

Keep decisions inspectable.

Security is a product responsibility. These are the implemented foundations and the checks still required before wider deployment.

Role-based access

Server-side authorization and database row-level policies separate instructor and student access. Students self-register without instructor privileges.

Explicit approval

AI editing produces a proposal, not an automatic course update. Instructors see the before-and-after view before deciding whether to apply it.

Persistent history

Approved changes create revisions. Instructors can inspect course history and restore earlier content through the authorized workflow.

Submission and activity protections have passed scoped security checks. Broader safeguards for permission changes and data retention remain incomplete. Institutional readiness and compliance certification are not claimed.
